Great fish and chips start with freshness. Fresh fish tastes cleaner and flakes better when it’s never been frozen, which is why we use Scottish (haddock and cod) and south coast fish (rock, skate, and plaice) delivered in peak condition. Keeping it fresh preserves the fish’s natural flavours, texture, and quality — without the water loss or ice damage that comes with freezing.

- Chips -

Great chips start with the right potatoes. We source potatoes fresh from the best regions in their best seasons — Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, the Fens, and early-crop Scottish farms — giving you chips that stay crisp, fluffy, and full of flavour. Prep and cooking techniques change through the year too, so every batch comes out proper. Proper chips, every time.

- Batter -

Good batter should lift the fish, not hide it. A light, crisp, flaky batter brings out the freshness of the fish instead of weighing it down. You get the crunch you want without the heavy, bloated feeling — just a proper fish-and-chips bite.

Pisces:Where Tradition Meets Quality

Pisces has been a family-run fish and chip shop in Eastcote since 1980, a small but proud part of the area’s heritage. Just a two-minute walk from Eastcote Station, the shop has passed through three families over the years — and we’re the third. Atila and his son Apo run it today; Atila was born in a fishing village and has cooked fish and chips for nearly three decades, while Apo’s earliest memories are from inside a chippy. We saw a trade that was fading and knew we wanted to keep the tradition alive, to show the world what proper fish and chips can be.

Our restaurant seats around 40 guests in a clean, cosy, fully air-conditioned space, giving you the comfort that’s missing in most modern chippies. Whether you’re dining in or picking up, you get the same care in every detail. And there’s something for everyone — gluten-free Mondays, matzo meals, grilled options, and fresh Mediterranean salads made daily. Simple, honest food served with real comfort.
